- My name is Jessica Rae Grabham, and I am studying Interior Design at Texas Tech University. I came to Tech in the Fall of 2006 knowing exactly what I wanted to study. To me, Interior Design is the perfect combination of creativity and practicality. Design is about architectural function and form as well as aesthetics. My goal is to create environments that have an impact, short term or long term, on the people in them. We constantly have the opportunity to influence people's emotions through our concepts. I love Interior Design because it gives me a chance to use my creativity and talent in order to create spaces that will positively affect people. Not only that, but also to have a lesser impact on the environment through the use of more sustainable ideas and concepts.
